At Immanuel Lutheran Church we extend a warm welcome to all persons wanting to worship our gracious God. As a member of our ELCA larger church body, we open our doors to everyone, regardless of race, class, or sexual orientation. As a larger church body we are known for being progressive in our outlook to social issues. The center of our church is its worship life. If you visit our church for worship you are likely to find a fairly traditional Lutheran service, with an emphasis on the Word and sacrament. We are working to reflect newer worship styles and music genres into our congregation's worship. A visit on Sunday morning will find an invitation for all to join in fellowship with food and drink immediately afterwards in our downstairs Fellowship Hall. Christian education includes Sunday School for children most Sundays during the school year and adult education opportunities from time to time on Sunday mornings or weekday evenings. We try to maintain an open and inviting environment not only to worship but throughout the week.
