Companion Synod (Sister Church)

Since its origin in 1988 the ELCA has paired synods with Lutheran Church partners around the world. Our East Central Synod of Wisconsin is paired with the Western Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Southern Africa (ELCSA). As part of that pairing we also have a companion congregation, Lobatla Lutheran Church in North-West Province near Zeerust, South Africa.
